Let’s talk a little more about Psalm 103. It seems to have something to do with a covenant, doesn’t it? As I pray about it; the answer seems to be , maybe.

“Good morning, God.”
“Good morning, Jonah”
“As we bless You (kneel before) and submit to your will, as Psalm 103 says, our Soul and all that is within me, we seem to be making a commitment to trust and rely upon You. It’s like half of a covenant. The other half is Your faithfulness to us in Merciful goodness that endures for ever and in caring for us as a father cares for his children and in being full of compassion and mercy, right?”
“I believe that’s what I said, Jonah.”
“Then this Psalm does talk about a covenant or agreement between You and us?”
“It sounds that way, Jonah; but, without your half, it is merely a promise of faithfulness I make. For I am always the same and my years will never end; if you perform your half, it is a covenant with the Living God sealed with the sacrifice of My Son.”
“Thanks, God.”
“Glad to do it, Jonah.”

Shalom, Jonah
